A movement in the trees startled Naveen and she jumped to her feet, barely able to lift the sword she held. "I demand thy to halt, or I shall run ye through with my sword!" She said, waiting for an answer. Another movement made her jump and she dropped her sword with a thud. 'Just a squirrel, just a stupid squirrel!' Naveen thought angrily, then squealed as a hand landed on her shoulder, "Naveen, nay need for that." A low, smooth, male voice said in a playful tone.
'It's just Col...' she thought, then turned and scowled at him, "How dare ye scare me like that! Never again, dost thy understand?!" She hissed.
"Yea, my Lady, but methinks ye like it, don't thy?" Col replied with a coy smile.
She could not help but smile, then quickly scowled. She lifted her hand to right in front of his face and looked away, intending for him to kiss her large ring. He felt anger at the action, back bowed his head and kissed it anyway, saying, "forgive me, my Lady..."
"I forgive thy, but if ye dost it again, I shall be most anger." Naveen said with an authoritative air, and turned to retrieve the sword she had dropped.
