The Missing Heir RP

Meanwhile...

Naveen sat on cold, damp earth, picking at a stain on her dress. She sighed heavily, and looked around at the woods surrounding her, she could not believe how long Col was taking to come back...

"Wonderful" Karok replied. "Please, make use of Tu'ull. ". The Zurian offered the reins of his horse to Kira. He suddenly had a question as to how they would cross the river. The road would have guards searching for his new companion but, Karok certainly wasn't going swimming again...
Kira came over to him and held out her hand to let the horse sniff at her. "Thank you Sir." She said and smiled at Karok. She glanced from one to the other "We can use the bridge I passed by if you want to cross the river." She pointed towards the woods she had first come from. "That way no one will get wet again."

"Nay, Karok, ye will not be walking through that river. Kira, ye may take my steed or ride pillion, which ever thy proffer." Aeron knew that the cold of the water would not help the Zurian and he could not afford to cross the bridge.

Thankful of the consideration his two companions had, Karok mounted the shire and awaited Aeron and Kira. Questions came to his mind about what lengths he would go to defend the two. Challenge authority even? Pondering to himself, Karok raised his head high as he made his mind. This is my duty now.

"I would ride pillion" Kira said looking from one to the other. She smiled then went to Aeron, holding a hand up for assistance in getting on the friesian behind him.

Aeron smiled back, easily pulling her up onto the horse behind him and steered the horse towards the river, seting off through it, he looked back to see that Karok was following.

The shire was so preoccupied with reaching for grass that Karok practically had to drag the beast forward. "D***ed if you couldn't eat!" He growled. The shire in truth lived for food, it was a quirk that could be frustrating, especially if it stopped mid gallop to nible on grass. Reluctantly the shire followed the freisian and Karok couldn't help but smile about his old steed.

A movement in the trees startled Naveen and she jumped to her feet, barely able to lift the sword she held. "I demand thy to halt, or I shall run ye through with my sword!" She said, waiting for an answer. Another movement made her jump and she dropped her sword with a thud. 'Just a squirrel, just a stupid squirrel!' Naveen thought angrily, then squealed as a hand landed on her shoulder, "Naveen, nay need for that." A low, smooth, male voice said in a playful tone.
'It's just Col...' she thought, then turned and scowled at him, "How dare ye scare me like that! Never again, dost thy understand?!" She hissed.
"Yea, my Lady, but methinks ye like it, don't thy?" Col replied with a coy smile.
She could not help but smile, then quickly scowled. She lifted her hand to right in front of his face and looked away, intending for him to kiss her large ring. He felt anger at the action, back bowed his head and kissed it anyway, saying, "forgive me, my Lady..."
"I forgive thy, but if ye dost it again, I shall be most anger." Naveen said with an authoritative air, and turned to retrieve the sword she had dropped.
