Has anyone mixed their Jersey Giants with other breeds. I'm thinking about getting a few JG's.

We have numerous mixed breeds as I started my new incubator over the winter with some "barnyard mix" hatching eggs. My absolute favorite cockerel is mixed. I have no clue what he is but I love him We had a 5 day power outage when he was in the incubator and in desperation I placed the eggs under the woodstove. They lost so much moisture that only 2 hatched (idk which would've been worse the cold or the stove lol) anyway the kids named him Rocky because we thought we might lose him and he was a fighter.

i think he has some leghorn in him i used to have one like with a little less black and some feathers on his feet but he would sort of chase you so he didnt last to long.

Very nice Rocky. He has that Mediterranean body style. Looks like one of his parents was a white Leghorn.

Well this is fun, sometimes the "barnies" are prettier than the pure breeds....
Here is my BARNIE Pharow..most likely AGF/OEGB, got him at a stables when he was 1-2 weeks old, he is the BOMB! LOVE LOVE LOVE him!
