The moment of truth...how stressful! DAY 21...

All 3 hatched! After noonish pips yesterday, the first hatched around 9pm, the second an hour later, and then the third sometime in the middle of the night while we slept a couple hours. Time to set some more! LOL!

Yay! I wish i was in the Smokies right now...or next month. In my younger days I used to visit the Smokies and Blue Ridge every fall...sigh...

Yeah, we're really seeing splashes of leaf change now. Will really ramp up in a week or so. It's beautiful. Best decision I ever made.

I went through the exact same thing yesterday. From the time I woke up
and all through the day I watched my egg rock and heard it chirp loudly!
Finally it pipped at about 4:30 pm and then a larger crack an hour later.
It was a good 6 hours with no progress and I started to panic, but instead of opening the incubator I
sat on my hands and waited

I am so glad I did because at 11:30 that baby started zipping around
the shell like crazy! At 12:30 Sweet pea was completely out of her egg

I have heard it can take up to 24 hours so even though it is frustrating to wait, It is very worth it
