‘ You don’t know? You need to get somewhere safe quickly, and oh god so should I.’ Sky yelled the last part as she saw fully transformed monsters walking outside the apartment building. They let out a scream and ran back over to their apartment, struggling to twist the doorknob.

Kit yelped as she saw the monsters, and ran towards the person. "What are those things?" She pushed their hand out of the way, pulling up on the doorknob and unjamming it.

‘ Thank you.’ Sky said hurriedly. ‘ Those things are the monsters. Anyone can become a monster, and once you are fully transformed there is no going back. Most people have become monsters, it’s terrible.’
