Ooh, I just gotta have William J Brady, he was sheriff during the Lincoln County New Mexico war. (I am almost spitting distance from the town of Lincoln, New Mexico. )

I know some about Brady. After seeing Young Guns I had to look into him. There's a lot of history by you then.
I'm not too far from The James home and their old stomping grounds. I spent a day in Liberty once looking up old newspaper articles on them. That was interesting.

If you ever get to New Mexico, you NEED to see Lincoln. Its still close to being a ghost town, although its big on being a tourist town. The Court House is a must see, its kept in the same condition, as is the entire town, as it was during the Lincoln County war. Shackles still in the attic where they chained Billy the Kid. Bullet holes in the walls and grave site right outside a window where Billy the Kid shot Brady, all kinds of history. The film industry loves to come to Lincoln to shoot film footage because the town has barely aged. I will give you the tour!

The Jesse James stuff is so cool! It must have been interesting to visit Liberty!
