This is true, size matters. I have a majicfly that is supposed to hold 9-12 eggs but as I recall I had to take the turner out and hand turn to fit a dozen in 2020 when I last hatched eggs. So I don't actually NEED a new incubator but....

"Need" has nothing to do with it when it comes to incubators.
It's never a bad thing to have an extra or 10 and it's never a bad thing to get one that holds twice what you think you need.

Yes. That's one of those don't put the cart in front of the horse deals that I've done and the getting back ahead of isn't fun.

I've have about 20 chicks coming the first week of April and I need two new pens, my new breeding project will com from there. Either that or I cull one of my current two flocks then I will just need one more... If I do not get it set up in time due to weather or something I will cancel order and go to plan B which will be getting fertile eggs from a friend that has lavender orpingtons for now

A vintage Natural Science Industries Chick U Bator complete in box.
Seller said it was bought new and used twice in the 60s. Been in storage ever since.
The very similar GQF Chick-Bator was my very first incubator.
Can't wait to try this thing out.

I own one of those also with the original box! looks just like new. Mine is also made by Natural Science Industries.
