The Moonshiner's Bootleg Incubator Reviews And Discussions

I'm tempted by the Maticoopx even though I love my NR360 and have used it for years. The extra water capacity with the water bottle in the Maticoopx is the main reason I'm interested. I hatched at school recently and the humidity would go very low over the weekend. The one thing I'm worried about with the Maticoopx is a review I read said you have to start it again after day 21 if you have late hatchers. Is this true? Will the machine just shut off after day 21?
I am on day 22 waiting to see if the last two eggs pip, no the mati is not turning off. When you start the next hatch you need to reset it or it will not turn though. It turns off the turner for lockdown is all.

I am loving this incubator, spot on temps and humidity all the way through. I wish I would have candled at lockdown because I am thinking these last two are duds. So if they do not hatch I will be at 80% hatch rate

Edit: I see this has already been answered...

Is that 80% of all eggs set or?
I was informed early on that I should disregard clear ages when figuring %. I don't calculate the clears just blood rings, early death, just never pipped or hatched etc.

not counting the 2 clears I tossed when I candled for the last time day 10/11 i think. So the 10 went to lockdown. I am actually waiting for the last one to finish drying off and I am going to get them in the brooder and I will candle to two left, I think they are duds. They were all from the same place, collected over 4 days so if they were going to hatch I think they would have by now, not even a pip yet. I will know more in about an hour.

So 80%, so far....

Edit: So I just checked to see if #8 was fluffed up and saw a pip on #9

Should I just leave everyone in the incubator for now, or remove the 8 and add the new one/ones to brooder later?
