Why? Health reasons or looks?

One was born with twisted toes and the other one couldn't stand or walk with droopy head. Those 2 were late hatchers. First time culling chicks it was very easy to do.

Also I already have one disabled roo that I'm studying.

That’s interesting. I ended up culling one that was a late hatch in my last batch. It couldn’t get up. Flopped and spun around.

In my most recent batch, one hatched 2 days after the others but it's just fine

It's 50/50 when they hatch late with disabilities. I've noticed late hatchers either born with disabilities or there runts.

So I have 6 female Swedish flower chicks and 2 silver 1 golden Phoenix male and 3 golden Phoenix female. There about 3 weeks old now.

I did a more thorough check and 4 of 6 were early quitters. I have another problem. One of the clear eggs is stuck in the turner. I’m scared to break it, so it will have to stay until lockdown when I can get the turner out and go outside to remove the stuck egg.

You should have kept every blue you hatched and picked from them once they matured a bit more. Then sold off extras.
