Did you ever keep Naked Necks?

Oh ya. I had some plain ol yard buzzards in my layer flock years ago. Hardy birds that lay really well.
Had some showgirls for minute. And last but most impressive I did raise BCs for a few years that had NN in the mix.
Now I must post some pics that everyone loves.

Leghorns

I've had about every poultry etc except pheasants.
I actually downsized everything to focus on the leghorns.
I kept the Muscovies and at most times one breed of normal ducks. I got back into calls after Overo hatched hers. These are the first hatched from my current ones.

First chicks ever at two days old--they'll be two weeks old tomorrow. Never thought anything so small could poop so much. Is it true the average chicken poops 150 lbs a year? Holy chicken crap, Batman--that's a lot of fertilizer.

Ordered 15, three each of Buff Orpingtons, Delaware, Black Australorp, Speckled Sussex, and Barred Rocks. Cackle sent 4 of each; one Sussex didn't make it. Figured I'd start with "beginner" chickens.
