Probably a month or so at least. I've still got time so long as I start moving at least some of them. But they're still growing fast and if like to start giving everyone a bit more room before those lovely hormones hit and I gotta seperate them

I try to avoid those unless it comes to it. Lots of people will take the heavy males you don't want here, but no one wants to waste their time on banties that aren't Cornish

He buys all of them, even the banties, once they are 4 months. He hits all the auctions and obviously knows how to make money off them or he wouldn’t do it. He’s retired so he’s got the time for it.

Ah, yeah we don't have auctions around here for anything lighter than goats. Otherwise I'd drop them off myself and skip the middle man.

You have to travel 45 minutes to an hour to get to the good ones around here. I don’t mind the middle man. He comes to me and we’re both happy coz I don’t have time for chasing auctions.

There was one scheduled for the first time in great falls here, but it got canceled. Unfortunately with AI, I can't even see if the zoo would possibly be interested in the bantams for their raptors. Whole place is in lockdown to protect the eagle pair there

Yup NY canceled all poultry auctions and shows through the end of this month. Will see what happens in June…

Today I sold 4 of my 2 month old hens that I hatched. Word of mouth is good getting the word out if you have birds for sale.

In 2 months my roosters will be 4 months old and perfect for butchering. They're all aptly named Dinner.
