How on earth do not end up Wirth feed all over the bottom of the broader in the first hour? We've tried all kinds of feeders and they just scratch it empty.

Let's hope that this one actually makes it. Sounds harsh, but I don't have great survival rates when these chicks are hands off and I can't put him with either of my current brooding pens so it is what it is.

No, it's 28% feed soaked in water so baby doesn't decide to go swimming in the water bowl tonight.
Might try to graft him to cochin mama, I've got to see how close her eggs are to lockdown though

Her name is now Finch. The blonde is the one that screams like she's being dragged to He'll when I put her away. Single comb, clean legs and bantam. Any breeds screaming out to yall as possibilities?

No, she is a mystery. Whatever she is, she either is grossly not up to standard, or not a breed I ordered. She's cute though. The feathered foot one next to her is a sexlink I hatched I haven't mentioned yet tho
