@Overo Mare see the chick in pic 2? That deal I was talking about causes that brown on the head and a light body haze. It shows well on that chick.
In the 3rd pic the chick up front has it. Look close at its head towards the front. That chick also has the body shade very similar to mine.

Cos I didn't have a sebright rooster at the time

And the sebrights had just started laying .... it was a test hatch ... I set 22 eggs

Wish I was in the same boat. Yet my serama rooster tries to mate with the standard hens. He's never successful, lol.

I have just put another 20 eggs from my sebrights in the incubator

Will be interesting to see what's fertile and who the dad is.... I got a sebright rooster about 3 weeks ago.... so I'm hoping he's getting the job done and my OEGB roosters swimmers have run out

So you did squeeze eggs outta your hens! Now where's that video?

No sebright rooster (not for lack of trying, holy cow), so all 3 are broody and hatching out f knows what in the mixed pen. All I know are the roosters are Mosaics, some females are Mosaics, and the rest are various breeds. Can't tell their eggs apart at all

Well here are my chicks that are about 1 month old. They're Braham bantam, English Orpington and Cuckoo maran mix.
