The Moonshiner's Chick Chat

My calls started laying a bit. I seperated them into groups today and collected 20 eggs that's been laying around.
I need to wait the 3 or 4 weeks to make sure I'm getting the pure varieties but figured I'd go ahead and set what I get until then and just sell those.
I'll set the ones I collected today. Don't know how they'll do but if any hatch that's more then I have right now.

Now that I’m done collecting eggs, all 3 of my BCs are laying every day! They know!
…One more for good luck, huh?

I will beg to differ with you when everything comes down to the location of where you’re at.
Better?

Where in this world are you located? Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor when using dirt in first aid..
Please add your general geographical location to your profile. It's easy to do, and then it's always ther.

I mentioned here that I suspected the turner in my 4250 wasn’t doing its job. Set timer, went back and it had moved. But I jiggled the turners back and forth as much as the slack would allow. My new theory is that it’s going through the cycle and hanging up at the same spot when it cycles back to that position. I’m guessing it has about 5 positions total? Correct me if I’m wrong. At around an hour per position it operates correctly for 5 hours then stops. Is there anything I can do to adjust it maybe? I’m afraid I may lose this batch.
