The chick is looking like it will have a crest. Congratulations on your little cockerel. Will get more pictures when its fluffyer. She has both Cream Legbars and Whiting True Blues. The pictures of the WTB's all have P/p type combs but that doesn't say much so it could land on either side. If I start seeing a crest I'll know for sure.
I don't need anymore roosters. I love them but I've to many as is. I still have to pick between two silver LF Amer roosters and all my OEGBs. I probably have 15 or so roosters as it is now and most are the OEGBs that fit in my hand. The chick is looking like it will have a crest. Congratulations on your little cockerel.![]()

We always have a lot of roosters to cull through every summer and fall. At least the OEGB roosters arent too hard to sell. They make really good pets.I don't need anymore roosters. This is funny to me.If its a boy it will be for sale for $10 then a week later for $0.
Sorry to tell you, but it is 100% not a female CL chick. They are darker with brown chipmunk striped and their markings are sharper and not blurred like the males. The males are lighter with a bigger head spot.Breeder thinks its the Cream Legbar as the pens are right next to each other. Looks like the egg got mislabeled. I'm good with it as it can be an addition to the Crested EE pen if its a girl and not a boy. If its a boy it will be for sale for $10 then a week later for $0. I just can't do the cull for meat. I bothers me to much now. When I was in my teens and twenty's not so much.
