The outlet is 42" from the floor. Just the weight of the part of it from the outlet to the floor is pulling the plug half out of the outlet.
It's a brand new hospital grade heavy duty outlet so doubt it's loosed up or anything. Now I'm gonna need to zip tie it to a screw in the wall or something to hold it up.

Ya. Maybe I'll just put it up somewhere and order one size smaller. It's seriously too much for that job

Oh, I love those lighted ends. That's a 12 3. It's fairly substantial right? I only a 10' or 12' one.

Yeah it is. Haven't used it much yet as the medium ones are working fine for lighting and heat lamps. It's just incase cord for borrowing the neighbors generator.

Well for now it's plugged in and running. Put 2 thermometers on top shelf spread out a bit and it's running right where it needs to be.
Moved to middle shelf and same. Moved to bottom and same. It can hold 6 turners and the 6 that was in it all work although 2 are a bit rackety.
Need to rinse them off a little then I'll put them in and plugged in and recheck top and bottom Temps.
It's got a 40 watt bulb at the top. Maybe I should swap it for a blue bulb so my incubator can be cool like the TB.

I'm sure it'd work for my purpose. Think I'll go Amazon one up with lighted ends.
