We have been fully intending to have an electrician equip our insulated building where we brood chicks with outlets and electricity, but life keeps getting in the way. So true to our redneck nature, we have a heavy duty extension cord ran from the front of our house (outdoor outlet) all the way up to the building. Very none boujee and none demure like. We have a screen door installed on the building and during the cold months it is lined with plastic to hold in heat, and in the hot months we remove the plastic for ventilation. I joked when our California neighbors first moved here that they probably think we are growing dope in there. Because of the light from the heat bulbs. :lau

Nope just chicks. Just growing chicks in there. 😆

Well for now it's plugged in and running. Put 2 thermometers on top shelf spread out a bit and it's running right where it needs to be.
Moved to middle shelf and same. Moved to bottom and same. It can hold 6 turners and the 6 that was in it all work although 2 are a bit rackety.
Need to rinse them off a little then I'll put them in and plugged in and recheck top and bottom Temps.
It's got a 40 watt bulb at the top. Maybe I should swap it for a blue bulb so my incubator can be cool like the TB. 🤔

Can you even find a blue bulb that isn't LED anymore? lol
 
Well, I guess the rare Isa siting has passed. I got busy at work right when I saw she was on. My wife even texted me pictures of our ran over mailbox and I completely forgot about it.
