Went to the local poultry show on Saturday

Wasn't a very big affair....

Those Brown Leghorn cocks are nice! I'm not a fan of the European-looking pinched-tailed White Leghorns though. Their combs are massive. I am hoping to have at least one or two decent Brown Leghorn roosters like that once they grow out.

Those things would look like a dirty mop at my house unless you kept them completely indoors, with as much rain as we have had in Kentucky. Too much mud here for heavily feather-legged breeds. They are way too boujee for me.

Those things would look like a dirty mop at my house unless you kept them completely indoors, with as much rain as we have had in Kentucky. Too much mud here for heavily feather-legged breeds. They are way too boujee for me.

Still getting rain? We've had a couple real storm days and then some with a hour or three of steady rain. I don't think we've had a completely dry day in the last 8.
I wanted to run my extension cord to see just how far in the garage I could get it but it's been raining since I've been home.
