What sucks is when you go to it the next day and see the cap still on because you forgot to take it off after filling.
Woops no water for you but yeah I don't have to fill it today.

You screw it onto a little nub up near the top. One of my favorite waterers by far. I did lose the cap once because it broke but the company mailed me one for free.

So at like 9:37 last night someone posted free piano, basketball goal and non working chest freezer. Freezer . Bonus only 30 minutes away.
One of those fcfs, no holds, will not reply to messages ads. We'll I'm not showing up at 10 but will be there at the crack of dawn. Decent size and looked very clean.
Yep got there just as the sun came up. Yep only thing left was the piano. WTH? Who picks up a broken freezer in the dark? Meth head with a scrapping obsession and a habit to feed.
I really dislike fcfs no holds ads.
So anyways to not be a complete waste it was trash day so decided to cruise around and rummage...
OK I made up that last part but did drive the extra 11 miles to Wal-Mart to go ahead and do my Monday shopping today so maybe free up some time that day.
Back home and things are looking up. 3 chicks hatched while I was away.

Good news on my own flock. The two cockerels from this last hatch have good pea combs so I sold the other two boys for $10 each.

Saw an EE rooster yesterday someone was asking $30 for. I just thought ya good luck with that.
Bet you're already excited about getting to next spring and breeding. Awesome to have something to further a project.

I am getting excited about next spring. I've even though about selling the Phoenix and Spitzhauben so I can just focus down on my two projects. It would free up space and feed.

I think I have some Redneck Eggers We had this leftover chunk of pipe about the size of a 5 gallon bucket so I threw some hay in it a couple days ago. Looks like it’s a winner!

My favorite was I have a long since used but legit outhouse. It's a normal type ring and lid but all homemade from wood. That sits on a huge pvc looking pipe that goes in the ground but is filled with dirt level with the dirt floor. When I had muscovies that was their favorite nest box.
Chicken wise I once had several leghorns that insisted on laying in an old milk can. That was kind of cool. Weirdest was way back when I had a free range mixed flock. Someone was using the backseat floorboard of my daily driver explorer as a laying spot. That continued long enough that I had to quit leaving my window down.
