Yes. I like them but I'm thinking twice as much comb. Like longhorn LeghornsIts the La Fleche. Body wise they look very close to the same. Differences are leg color and that comb.

Lucky! They say a watched pot never boils so hopefully as work and the huge assignments for my last two classes keep me busy the next few weeks they will start. If not, there is always spring.I found 2 eggs in my this year's pullet pen yesterday.
I'm glad it's not just us then with feather eating Leghorn hens! My husband's White Leghorn hens are the WORST! They strip any rooster we put in there and eat his hackle, saddle, and tail. We supplement them with greens, produce scraps, oyster shell, etc and they eat layer pellets mixed with 18% and STILL do it!!D@mn females pulled it out. Or at least that's the story I'm telling.
It is possible to get a barred fibro bird? I don't own any fibros other than my Nephews' silkies. Those are fibro, yes? If’n you accomplish fibro on barred, you’ll really have something.
I pallet cleanse a lot then. Not always on purpose, but I do have a bad habit of derailing Moony’s thread from time to time. Let’s call it a pallet cleanse.![]()
