The Moonshiner's Leghorns

That’s facts right there. I stopped naming my chickens and stopped locking them in a coop and they act like they didn’t even need those things in the first place! It’s like my neighbor said about his chickens (kept in the most un-Fort Knox coop I have seen in person) “you can’t hardly kill ‘em!”
Exactly!! I have some old as dirt hens outside. We don’t give them special treatment when they free range. We feed and water them, make sure they have shelter available. My husband culled an old decrepit hen just the other day. When you don’t care about them they will live forever. The ones you work hard to protect will drop dead for no particular reason other than you just loved them too much. lol

Has to be friends of the family getting insider info. If they don't want it they let their friends know. An so on.
So to get the good stuff I need more friends, ahhh......

Not sure I want the good stuff then.

Right. I would rather pay full price. My only friends are chicken and farm friends. Some of my "closest friends" over the course of my life have stabbed me in the back. I do not have friends in high places and that is good with me. I have gotten everywhere I’ve gotten in life on my own merit and have bought everything I have with my own money. No daddy money, no family money. Just me, myself, and I.. blood, sweat, and tears.

Wait, what? There I go down a rabbit hole again.

I mean friends are cool and most of my friends have been cool. But I've always been one of those that give more then I take so idk I guess I can only deal with a limited number.
Then over the last several years I've lost a few of my closest ones. Couple just not in my life like they were and a couple not in life anymore. That sucks.

I know what you mean. Or your friend moves away and say's that they will stay in touch, but you never hear from them again.

I did score a new circular saw today though. Unfortunately it involved TSC which I'm not a fan of in the least.
Years ago I was all about cordless tools. Still am but they're pricey and batteries don't seem to last long enough and that's the expensive part.
About 5 years ago I decided to go with both. Corded works well enough IF I'm close to an outlet so figured that'd be a lot of the time anyways. Split my workload to save wearing out the cordless. Now a drill I can't go back to corded but saws wth. I bought a porter cable circular saw and jigsaw. Circular saw is what I called my backup that I switched to my metal cutting saw about a year ago. Picked up a ryobi corded saw for a deal. Well its done for already.
Looked around for a deal on a saw last night since that sale was close to where a lot of the big box stores are. Never had porter cable tools before theses last ones. The cordless drill gave out but both saws are still going. TSC has some of those tools for 40% off. That put their saw at just a bit more then Walmart's hyper tuff or skill saws. No Brainer there.
That's my what made you happy today thing. A new saw. I'm easy like that.

Yay! Gotta love Black Friday sales! And Cyber Monday! I have racked up online. I do 90% of my shopping online. I am probably the only woman in America who doesn't enjoy shopping in stores.

I hear you on the battery-powered tools, the batteries cost just as much as buying a new power tool to replace it. My husband prefers a corded circular saw but everything else is battery powered.

Congrats on your new saw!

You are wrong. You aren't the only woman in America that doesn't like shopping in stores. I really try to avoid them especially during holidays and when they have those big sales. The stores are too crowded, and the check out lines are too few with long lines.
