The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Anconas definitely were derived from Leghorns, but I've read they are technically "separate breeds." I am like you though; they look like Mottled Leghorns to me. lol

Those Mille Fleur though!! 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
In Italy they are separate breeds but by most standards they are basically the same XD in Italy Livornos are more rangy.

Still no deliveries here. Gloves were in KC Friday. Expected deliver started as Saturday but now says "by Thursday". No updates since Saturday when it changed to arriving late.
Two other items expected deliveries for Wed and Thurs. No updates on them since Thurs when they had neither made it out of original state.
Anyone shipping for Christmas better get it shipped asap 🤣
Oddly enough I bought something from Amazon that shipped from China expected delivery 4th thru 14th. It made it here on the 4th.
Gloves suck. Everyone has what are supposed to be excellent cold weather gloves but there's reviews that say not warm at all. People have been telling me to trust reviews but....
Waiting on lined denim coat and I found an exact match to the old field and stream lined flannel I had. New, old stock with tags. Waiting on it and it'll be my go to working/chores wear. If it's as good as I remember I'll look for a back up one.
Looking into other glove options and a face gator thing next. Yee Ha
2 decent temp days this week. Seriously decent and they're the two days I work. That's how that usually works.
And yes my hens aren't laying now. Not even a dozen eggs a day total.

That's why I get my online shopping done well before Christmas (personal and gifts). Weather conditions, or all of the packaging overload can slow things down. Plus, during the holiday's you have those porch pirates to worry about too.

We don't get porch pirates here. Guess the driving in bfe = gas money versus packages found = not worth it. It saddens me we don't get much to shoot at out here.

In the past I haven't had problems with them neither, but the land developer's in the area can't stand to see any acres of empty dirt on it. The city is trying to annex us.

Leghorns are kind of elegant here, you know?
The only difference between Anconas and Leghorns is how their backs are described.
The Italian ones are more upright and long legged.

The backs are what I mostly noticed, and the stance. They're a pretty bird though, the Ancona. Are they less flighty than the Leghorn?
