Silkies are actually very tough. I don't know why people say otherwise.My husband complained at least once a week about them, so it was necessary. I've mentioned on this thread multiple times I think about his disdain for Silkies. No offense to the breed or breeders that like them. He just thinks they are a useless novelty. They survived our blistering cold winter, so they are tougher than I gave them credit for though. The people that bought them had small children and they squealed with delight when they saw the birds. Those chickens will be very spoiled and loved, I'm sure. lol
You can do alot wrong with storing eggs and still get it right.I store them pointy-side down in a cool but not cold place and I can collect them for up to a week, right? Any hatchoholic chime in. Unsolicited advice welcome.
