The Moonshiner's Leghorns

I don't want my chicks shipped in a box soon as they hatch. Guess I'm getting soft in my old age but I'd rather raise my own batch.

I'd rather buy them locally than online even at $8 a chick. At least I'd get to see them before buying them plus I'd get to take them home
I prefer the hatching egg's, and bringing them into the world myself. Everyone has their own likes of doing thing's when it comes to chick's.

I never wanted to hatch my own artificially but I finally caved and made an incubator to hatch some recently . I've only had one hen go broody and hatch chicks and she abandoned the flock after her chicks were grown.Shes a house chicken now.

There are other sources of protein besides meat. Eggs and legumes are exmples. Vegetarians typically live longer than meat-eaters.

Until he ends up with a bunch of chicks he can't sell.
There are, but meat definitely has more protein per calorie and per gram, has more complete protein, and it's very high in B vitamins!

A vegetarian diet can work, of course, but one must be more careful to make sure they are meeting their nutritional needs. For most people meat (in addition to eggs) is the best way to get protein in your diet, it's more efficient.

🤷🏽‍♀️
