Busy extended weekend. The place where I go to the poultry auctions had their Memorial weekend sale.
Had another batch of 34 hatch and have went to the brooder.
Lock down for the next batch should of been last night. I'll get them moved today and then set more.
 
Did get this at the auction to use as another brooder.
It's 5' X 2'.
Also got a new in box LG incubator. I'll be switching the electronic thermostat out for a GQF wafer thermostat.
Use it for overflow eggs or hatcher or something.

I've got a 4x2 trough that works amazing for brooding
 
Ya I've got a couple black poly ones I use.
Either kind usually sell pretty high but I got a chance at this one so I jumped on it.
We just let our neighborhood know we'll take any that no longer are water tight and will cart it away for them. Saves them 5 bucks and a trip to the dump

None of them confessed to it of course and I got the old I was holding it for a friend BS.
I don't care if they want to smoke but d@mn wait till you're older and move out of brooders.
You have to be a real chicken head to be smoking cigarettes on a straw or wood shaving floor.

Really? I'd think maybe the Isabella would be like a black or somwthingblike that, but the buff I have no clue. Trying to decide what I should do with my silvers, I mainly got them because They were pretty
