He's interesting. I've crossed a lot of things and have never gotten a bird that looked like that.
My solids Xs duckwings etc always have more color then that. The shoulder color is always the first to show.
Interesting that he has hackle color but no shoulder color.

I’ve heard that an unmodified unmelanized extended black would have that coloring but that has always been in theory since they are rare.

He kinda is like my asian black male. I think mine has red patches on his shoulders, but his main glossy color is on his hackles

Yes this is what I liked about him... I do t have any idea on his breeding otherwise I would be tempted to get him and make some more .... I like the look

Very hard to get clean yellow legs in a black bird.... everyone has trouble with it
