Have a kids birthday this week so I pushed back my hatch for the week. 6 or 7 more days to go for any new chicks.
Was about to get my pens done but got busy. Also I ordered some water cups and horizontal nipples so need to do some modifications on it.
Gonna take a bit but want to hook up a water system and see how that goes.
Thought about doing it for some time now but it's not feasible year round with our winters but figured it might make life easier during the warm months.

Also have a predator problem. Ive got a large pen for extra cockerels/roosters and it has 0 security. Something has come in and killed 3 birds over about the last week.
I had 4 black tailed buffs and 3 of them has been what was killed.
It's always something I needed. Anyways I'm gonna have to stop it ASAP.
Side note. Putting a trail cam on my wish list. Anyone know of a decent on thats extremely affordable?

Here I am. I love my cameras. @speckledhen has a Stealth Cam, I have other that I have bought. Not all cameras are equal. Most take great daytime pictures but nighttime is another story. This is one I would buy if I was going to buy another one. The price is right.

Here are some other cameras with good prices like some that I have. They look identical but are manufactured under different names. The take very good nighttime pictures compared to some other cameras I have.

Yeah we have foxes,racoons,possums,and we have a few stray coyotes in our area... couple nights ago I found three Screech owls hanging out on top of one of my fences,eyeing my parrots, but I have them in an enclosure almost impossible to get to... my wife says they're the cutest..but when I explained to her that they do a number on chickens she changed her tune.lol.

Thanks for taking the time to post so much info. It's taken me a couple days to get through those and where they lead to.
I think I'm gonna be a bit tapped for while but isn't father's day this month?
