The bright side is you did break 1,000 chicks again.
Lol, that looks a little crazy when someone else says it.
The good thing with the chicks is that after they're a week old and get moved to the chick house I don't even have to run a bulb over them now.
The part that sucks is their water. I use those gallon LG founts. Most have more then one. Probably 20 give or take total. They don't empty them in half a day but I do just cause the water feels warm by then.

Cuckoo Rooster
3 cuckoo hens
1 Black hen
1 blue hen
1 Splash hen

I also have what looks like a blue cuckoo pullet that has just started laying
I want to cross buff with something then breed the offspring and try to pull out straight wheaton.
Had to check with the chicken calculator for the odds. 1 in 128 for a female and 1 in 128 for a male. I hate when I have an idea but the odds are playing hardball.

Oh and I will have some of the wheaten looking ones ones from my dad's as well if I can find some of their eggs.
