Same here. At least a couple weeks ago it was.

Wow. Honestly we buy the cheap stuff at tsc. It's like 16.49 a bag for 50 pounds. But they do alright for the most part and we still go through around 3 bags a week, with once a month another bag bought, so its almost 13 bags a month.

And I know the Moonshiner goes through way more than I do, even with a free loading turkey

Ya I'm getting the cheap stuff this year too.
Not cheap quality but best prices even if I have to drive for it.
I'm still getting discounted prices because face it I'll keep a place in business.
The local small mill has my layer feed. I'm paying about $10.50 per 50 lbs. Chick feed from a mill almost a hour away. Just shy of $14 per 50 lbs.
I can get my in between grower from either for $12.50
With a bulk and a cause I'm kind of a big deal discounts I'm saving about $2 a bag.

Yes he is barred.
I've found barring doesn't show so well on blue.
It really only shows at all on the darker area.

Update....
Miserable here. Been upper 90s. Breaking 100° today.
Outdoor work has been tiring.
I've been losing some chicks. Too hot even without any lights.
Expect hatch rates to go down with fresh eggs being in this heat.
Wood prices are ridiculous so a lot of plans on hold.

Same! I'm having all the issues with chicks. And I don't want to do a thing outside. At least I'm not having to put on mud boots to get across the yard now.
