I don't even understand why they're like that.
I'm breeding them with their sibling that looks like a normal barred. (One copy)
Later I'll cross them back to their dad.
We'll see what happens.
It may get interesting. Their dad carries mottling.
He is also the father to the barred mottled birds I posted the link to.

IDK I hatch too many to pay that close attention to.
I think I saw both solid black and black with a small head spot.
