I find that some, unless wet, will come apart. The slats are just as important as the beams at least for me.Some have these ribbed nails that are not letting go for love or money. When they're soaked its a breeze.
Question.
Is the tool home made or from a store?
The local box store sells something like that.
If homemade by you, then you can weld.
A skill I would love to acquire.

It is homemade. A friend actually welded it because he had my welder and I guess figured it would be in his best interest to weld it rather then return my welder.
It works and has held for a few years now but I cringe when I look at the welds well because they aren't as pretty as I would of done.
I took vo-tech welding back in HS and have welded quite often with a couple jobs I've had. I won't complain because I also have a union pipe fitter friend that can put me to shame.

It would be nice,just a suggestion. If you could make the time,to show pictures of the pullets and cockerels that are getting close to where you want to get. The varieties that you have been working on.
Also, you gotta get that website set up man.

Once upon a time I had a free Weebly website. There was a way to take the Weebly off so it was just a .com and looked official.
I don't believe it can be done now.
