What do I know about Leghorns? lol
IDK you tell me.
I can testify to that. Had to catch one I sold this morning that kept getting outMight as well let them have a bit of tail to slow them
The Leghorn back should be rather long. That said, the “tail swoop” should start in the center of the back (achieved by cushions/tail coverts) so the back appears to be shorter and more concave. The main and maybe only type difference I can find between Leghorns and Anconas is that Leghorn sweep begins in the middle of the back and the Ancona tail begins at the end.All beautiful birds. I did notice that some have shorter backs than others. Is that a problem because some people say it's unwanted or a "fault"?
Those pictures are a mixture of Bantam and Large Fowl. Honestly, the bantams have better type to me, so that might be part of what you're seeing. But Amer explained it in a smashing fashion. All beautiful birds. I did notice that some have shorter backs than others. Is that a problem because some people say it's unwanted or a "fault"?
