It's a gene I wasn't aware of coming into play. I cross varieties to make new varieties. Usually I know exactly what genes are involved. L like it that way.
Every now and again something shows up. Something I put there but didn't catch or think of or know that bird carried.
An odd ball is fun and I may exaggerate for drama. It's just to entertain myself. I'll figure it out and unfortunately it'll most likely be something I overlooked not some new exciting spontaneous creation of a new gene or anything.

Sometimes birds go to auction but ya a lot of times they just hang around to be used for other projects.
