So I wasn't quite sure what exactly this boy was.
Both parents were blue and carried mottling.

Spoiler: Possible choices

blue,
black,
splash,
blue mottled,
black mottled,
splash mottled,
blue carrying mottled,
black carrying mottled,
splash carrying mottled

Paired him with black mottled females as a test breeding.
First hatch was due today but I've already had six hatch. All from this pen so now I know what he is.
I'll post the chick pics tonight or tomorrow and see who has it figured out.

Did all that just fall off or you had to help it? It didn’t get as cold here but my boys looked bad for a long time. They’re still not perfect.

I’m going to say Splash Mottled. So if all your chicks hatched Blue Mottled, that settles it.
