My new to-do list:

1. Get more money.

2. Get red shed.

3. Buy more chickens.
Reclaimed wood and metal. 12’ 4ā€ x 3’ 6ā€.
There are four 36ā€ x 40ā€ breeding pens for bantams in the whole building. Everything except the fasteners and hinges are repurposed.

The copper colored piece on the end is removable for better warm weather ventilation.

Since you're new to my thread I guess I should clue you in.
Moony is extremely unreliable about taking pics. Requests go nowhere.
Once I get things more underway I'll take some but idk when it'll be.

I love it.
Big fancy shiny new coops are nice but I love reclaimed and repurposed coops and such.
I grew up around redneck ingenuity. I remember as a kid I had rabbits and the worst part about building hutches were hinges. Those were pricey. I'd cut rectangle pieces from old riding mower tires and use them as hinges.

Growing up we did the same.

My neighbors are tearing down an old lean-to and are going to give us all the scrap metal off the roof. I could use that and then paint my little shed red! I really need a larger brooder area for grow outs that are too young yet to free range, but too big to be in the indoor brooders. A better "in-between" area if that makes sense.
