The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Ooooh I really love that. You captured it so beautifully. I love the abstractness of watercolor. I have never been any good at watercolor, I'm messy with it.
Well, I suck at acrylic. For some reason watercolor just feels like filling in the lines of my sketch to me.

You'll have to join us next Birdtober, lol

I draw over 31 birds in 31 days and this was one of them
Yes next Birdtober I will! That sounds fun! This October I will be too busy with school, finishing up clinicals and starting my Cap Stone.

Any red bird is my kryptonite.
I love using my red colored pencils
You can tell because they are shorter than the others
My favorite color pencils are Prismacolor. If you haven't tried them they are well worth the money. Color pencil is my favorite medium. Red is my favorite color also. :D

Anyway, I'd better turn in. Sorry Moony, I think we might need to boot the Peanut Gallery thread back up...
Good night!
Ah yes, the peanut gallery. I read about that way back in the thread. My apologies @The Moonshiner . I tend to geek out.

Goodnight! I am up late because I just came off a set of night shifts. Sleep well. :)

I like the detail you can get with acrylic. By letting colors dry then layering to create detail. I haven't painted in many years. I may start again one of these days.

Well it's gonna be my if all else fails plan so...
But ya I was thinking jack stands under the back axle. Maybe I should also stack up a few 6x6s or something to double up my safety 🤔
Ya that's my concern. D@mn thing falling and either running over me or taking off across the road and heading for the woods.
Not laughing about the possibility of you getting ran over, because that would be tragic. But the image of the Trail Blazer barreling off into the great wide yonder all by itself just cracked me up! lol

Ya I figured that but haven't decided what to use. Needs to actually be of some use but if it does take off its gonna run them over so nothing that tear up something underneath. So not like a huge rock.
Not sure how to "Make sure it doesn't" kind of won't know if it will until it does if it does.
Maybe I should look for a YouTube video. Surely someone has done this.
Yeah you can learn how to do anything on YouTube. I sure hope you get it figured out and it isn't something serious or expensive.
