These are what I have. I don't get it because I'm not seeing any fleece lining. Maybe it's a thin layer sandwiched in-between but the upper appears the same as the tall regular boots I had.My Muck boots that come up to just below my knees rub my shins for some reason, even with boot socks. They are a waterproof marsh type boot I think. Good for mud season but causes little red spots on my shins?![]()
Mine has the little nubs on the heel to push them off with and it seems the artic excusions are the only model that has that. The whole boot matches and so does the thread.
I have super short muckster IIs and their tread is very different and seems slick on some surfaces.
But anyways I always had boots like you speak of before the last pair of these and never had complaints. BUT after having these I won't have a taller pair again. These don't really sweat me (even if artics. They're tall enough, easier on and off and don't rub or anything.
