I lost a rooster today too. My old White Legbar rooster was drooped up today and he wouldn't eat, so I took that as a sign he was at the end of his life. He was very old, one of my originals and I've had them for many years. So hubby culled him. He had a great life, breeding hens and living high on the hog. So I will put the little Silver Crele NNer in with the Legbar hens. It was like it was meant to be.

My husband caught up the little Silver Crele NNer out of a tree tonight. It is happening! Even he thinks my little crested naked necked easter egger project is a good idea. I need to call them something else... Showgirl is already taken... hmm, Fancy Naked Neckers?
