What is a furnace leghorn?

Idk but there is a furness cochin.
I wasn't aware any other breeds came in that variety though so they may or may not be the same.

OEGB do but its hard to find pictures. I've seen it in the Rosecombs as well once I started looking for the Brassy Backs.

The Furness phenotype is based on a gold melanized wheaten, most likely Melanotic(Ml and perhaps other melanotic) covering the hackel, saddle, shoulders, when you cross them to a solid black bird, you will hatch mostly black birds, the Extended black and melanizers will make the progeny of this cross completely or mostly black
