The Furness phenotype is based on a gold melanized wheaten, most likely Melanotic(Ml and perhaps other melanotic) covering the hackel, saddle, shoulders, when you cross them to a solid black bird, you will hatch mostly black birds, the Extended black and melanizers will make the progeny of this cross completely or mostly black
