The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Yes, I have a silver leghorn one. It never did grow a tail, and it's smaller then the other 2. Why do you ask?
I was just curious. We had a Game pullet that ended up being rumpless this year and it made me think of it. We had never had a Game from that line come that way before her so its odd it just randomly pops up in a line.

My tailess pullet is doing ok, and the others don't pick on her.

We had never seen that particular line of Games crop up with a rumpless bird and I found it interesting how the genes can sometimes either spontaneously mutate or the gene just exists in the line until it pairs up with another eventually and shows up.

I have a rumpless OE free ranging currently who is 2-3 years old. She does just fine and is a good layer of a nice darker green egg.
This one hasn't started to lay egg's yet. She doesn't have any ear tuffs. I'll have to see what color of an egg that she lays, because I'm curious. I'm sure they will still taste good.
