What are nibblings?

Sorry you had to go to work on Christmas. I am notorious for requesting to work holidays to avoid family stuff. Nothing beats “sorry we can’t make it, I have to work.” It sounds better than “sorry we can’t make it because we don’t want to.”

Nieces and nephews. And yeah Its a great way to avoid the chaos

I don't have to worry about family chaos anymore, as they have all passed on, except for maybe my brother. I'm not sure about him, but it's been at least 25 years since I heard anything about him. He's a user too. If he's not dead then he probably got himself into trouble again.

I have a brother just like that, just uses my mom and tries to ruin the last years of her life.

We had a good Christmas.

Brother put the turkey in the oven set the time and went to do other things for dinner. The oven turned off a few minutes after he walked away and we didn't catch it for an hr. So eating time got moved back to 5pm to 6pm from 2pm. Everything turned out good tho. We did decide to do prim rib next year. Wooo don't have to do turkey twice next year.

Oh its only me, my brother, my mom and step dad these days. We generally watch Christmas movies and chat. They both liked their presents as did we.

All in all had a decent time.

We used to do turkey for Thanksgiving, prime rib for Christmas. Then GC got bit by a Lone Star tick. Hence Mexican food. Pizza for New Year's?

My Christmas was good too.

I went over my brother’s house in the evening Christmas Eve and stayed maybe 2-3 hours, maybe longer, not sure exactly, and then went back around like noon on Christmas and stayed till like 6:30-7 ish LOL so yeah.

Exact times don’t matter though. I’m just weird and like to try to remember LOL

Anyway, it was just both my brothers, my SIL, her family (parents and a brother), and my two nephews. My dad and stepmom stayed home this year because my dad just had a heart procedure so he needs to rest plus they’re trying to stay away from germs because of it. So yeah.

I went over there for Thanksgiving too and my dad and stepmom were with her family then so it was the same crowd as Christmas except my younger brother wasn’t at Thanksgiving.

I don’t mind hanging with them. They’re all cool. But the 3 dogs and my nephews definitely help LOL
