The Moonshiner's Leghorns

Well, I hope that your brother knows about that breed (whatever it is) and if they are really worth it. As for me, I'll just wait on some Buff Leghorn hatching egg's.
They'll just be barnyard mixes of brown eggs layers and I'd be stunned if he could actually name 3 chicken breeds let alone know anything about any.

All of the flocks that i raised before were brown laying dual purpose. I got away from them because I wasn't eating them. I noticed that these Leghorn's lay alot better then they did. I have come to appreciate these Leghorn's.

Me too. I pulled a flank steak out of the freezer and my husband asked how I planned to cook it. I hadn’t decided so I said, “I’m going to cook it and you’re going to eat it and that’s the end of the story.” He laughed and said, “Yes ma’am!” I made it tonight with a garlic butter sauce, with broccoli and cheesy rice. My feed bill is half what it was and I still get lots of eggs.I have zero complaints about my leghorns. They're predator savvy too
