The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

His face exploded into a big grin “I’m so glad!! I’m free!”
"Oh...." She whispered back because Will was talking again, she said it as though his answer had made total sense, but really had no idea what he meant. She tried to concentrate, on what Will was trying to explain, they might need to know how this thing works if they get sent somewhere else and they need to come back, but her curiosity over where Fred could have been trapped kept nagging at the back of her mind. Was he some kid who had been kidnapped or something and rescued with this stone? Come to think of it, it might have been a better use of these stones to rescue missing people. Not kidnap more.

Will Laurel continued to ignore all conversation.
"In Scotland there is a certain monument. You know that one? Stonehenge? We're not going there, but it's the fastest way to where we need to be. Since you all probably want breakfast and some of you need to get out of your pajamas, I suppose we aren't going to be there for a while. Why don't we all settle down a bit upstairs while I explain what you all have to do on this quest?"
Instead of waiting for an answer, Will Laurel turned and walked briskly back to the main level.
Take listened to what Laurel had to say, and shook his head in understanding. He didn’t know what to say or how to feel about everything, but he just decided to go with what this man was saying.
He followed after him, but didn’t try to converse. Take just went back to where he was sitting previously and propped his feet up on the table, and leaned back in his chair, with his hands caressing the back of his head.

“I like that name,” Brid responded, shaking his paw as they descended. “I’m not sure if I introduced myself yet, but oh well. I’m Brid.” She could hear some sort of yelling behind them and assumed someone else had appeared.

Will grabbed Ellie's hand and wrenched him back.
"Not yet. You will go home soon, but not yet. First we have to find a way to stop the curse. I really was fortunate to find the map in time..." Laurel unfolded a huge piece of parchment.
It had odd markings writhing their way across the paper, a pattern identical to that on the stone behind him, with runes explaining the functions of each swirl. Or at least, that was what Cam would assume was their purpose.
That doesn't look much like a map to me.
Laurel let the paper drift to the ground and strode over to switch off the lights.
Now the room was illuminated only by the stone. Several of the swirls were illuminated now, compared to the few he had seen in the morning. Each of the teens' faces was bathed in an eerie blue light.
Will Laurel almost tripped as he stumbled back toward the stone. That can't be right, we must have more time.
He lifted the strange parchment to the stone, fingers shaking. The swirls glowed through their duplicates, making the thick goatskin seem almost translucent. His face turned grave.
"We might already be too late."

Will Laurel continued to ignore all conversation.

Colby was halfway down the stairs when somebody turned off the lights. He froze, tail swishing nervously. The only illumination now was somewhere below; definitely blue, vaguely pulsating, and just out of sight. Once he thought to, listening in on the conversation downstairs was easy, but he didn't catch much more than something about Stonehenge, breakfast, and settling in...upstairs.
Then there was a thunderous tromping of footsteps returning upward and at him. He began to take the steps backward, nearly falling onto his backside in his sudden attempt to get out of the way. Once the comparatively brilliant light of the coffee shop slid over him, he took a few good skips and scrambled into a nearby booth. Somewhat traumatized, he slid under the table until only his twitching ears were in view.

Cam was tentative, but her curiosity got the better of her. Will Laurel walked down the stairs, which weren’t nearly as scary with the lights on. It definitely more inviting than her own cobweb encrusted crypt of a basement at home.
He wouldn’t summon a bunch of kids here from multiple different time zones using magical stone thingies just to drag us into a basement and kill us, right? Right???
She really wasn’t sure.

Will Laurel stepped into the cool basement and gazed upon the piece de resistance with a remarkable amount of awe on his normally impassive face. It seemed to Cam as though it must impress him every time.
There, smack dab in the center of the room was an enormous blue stone, etched with swirling lines curving into a circle in the middle.
It was so huge and beautiful it looked fake. Like part of a movie set or something you only read about in stories.
But that was what this place was starting to feel like. Some kind of story.

Clary’s jaw dropped. She had never seen something like that. She would’ve thought it was fake, but after everything that had happened, she seriously doubted it was.

He landed with a thud and instead of wondering where he was he started yelling and running screaming with happiness “IM FREE”

“H-Help! I can’t stop” he cried

“Um HELLO?! I CANT STOP” Fred shouted trying to stop himself from sliding towards the stone.

“Thankyou” he smiled “I’m Fred and im 11”

She turned around to see who was screaming. “You’re... free? What are you, a house elf? I thought that was a stone, not a sock.” Her brow furrowed as Fred said his strange introduction. “Oh, we’re telling each other names and ages. What’s next, social security numbers?”

Take stared at the two men, grasping his stone tightly.

Curse..?

“So you’re telling us that these glowing rocks can take us home?” He questioned, stepping forward.

He growled lowly “Teach us how to use them.”

Will grabbed Ellie's hand and wrenched him back.

“I agree with Pinkie over here, how do we use these?” Clary asked, pointing her thumb at Take. “Wait, too late for what? The bugs aren’t already wreaking havoc, are they?”

"Well, I don't really need you," Will growled. "I needed a room full of people with actual skill, but it's awful late to switch you all out, so I guess we'll have to work with what we got." He stared accusingly at Kyle, who shrugged and stepped back.

Clary whistled. “Mmm, the sass. I love it.” She said grinning.

Will Laurel continued to ignore all conversation.

Her face lit up at the mention of Stonehenge. “We can go there? Really? I’ve always wanted to visit Stonehenge. Davis is going to be jea-lous!” She said in a singsong voice, and then followed Will upstairs.

Brid reached the bottom of the stairs and had just caught a glimpse of the mother amulet when suddenly everyone turned and began tromping towards her. Confused, she hurried back upstairs to beat the rush, just arriving in time to see Colby disappear under the table. “You good?” She asked, stopping a few feet from the edge of the table. I hope this isn’t awkward, she thought nervously.

"Yes!" Aria, pumped her fist, excited. She ran up the stairs, 2 at a time, and went up to the counter. "Venti double shot iced white chocolate mocha, with whipped cream." SHe said. She saw someone going to grab a plastic cup and said, "No, no, no. I have my own cup." She handed them a stainless steel drinking cup, and went to grab her phone, which was in her backpack.

Annie was relieved to get out of the tiny-bug infested basement and back into the cafe with out a spider incident. People were choosing seats around the crowded shop. Pairing off in groups it seemed. She looked around trying to identify the new people she had just met. There's Fred, who I just met down stairs. And, that guy with 3 eyes. There was a girl too. She looked around trying to figure out who the other person she had met was, she was bad at remembering names but she didn't want to just plop down next to a guy, even if they were the only people whos names she could remember.
