The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Everyone seemed content to stay in this room, but with giant bugs out side the only door, and massive ants just outside being trapped in here was a bad idea.

"Wait Cam don't close us in here. Kyle where do we need to go?" She closed her eyes shaking her head, remembering he'd told them where they needed to go. "Or, what do we need to do if we get there. Maybe we should split up into groups and make a run for it?" She suggested. The last thing she wanted was to be eatten by bugs. But being trapped in a small room waiting for them to come wasn't something she wanted either.

“Alright, Kyle said, gravely kicking his legs over Rylie’s back. “We might need to make a run for it.”

Ellie glared hard trying to channel her lasers straight at the giant cockroach. “Mmmmmaaaaahhhhh” She shouted in frustration burying her face in her hands. Her eyes sparked “yes. Yes. Yes. No. No no!” Her sparks faded. “What the heck is going on?” Ellie cursed angrily. She screamed as a cockroach climbed up her leg “get off me you little demon!” She flung her fist down so it squashed the cockroach.

Fred sits staring his eyes open wide staring at the ghost. “How old are you?”
Alanna looked down at him. "Well...I feel like I'm still fourteen, but I'm really twenty one. How old are you?"

Take squeezed his eyes shut, “I can’t look.. I can’t I can’t I can’t..” he repeated over and over, his head hanging low. He brought his hands up to his forehead, where his horns grew in last time, his head was pounding like someone was hitting with a mallet. He then started to hyperventilate and swing himself slightly as he tried to fight it off.
"Okay, okay, just breathe, alright?" Blair murmured softly, keeping the panic she felt from her voice. What do I do? I don't know what that's like for him, if it's anything like it is for me then I could help, but...
She hesitantly reached a hand out, carefully letting it rest against his shoulder. "Stay calm, it's going to be okay. It'll be alright, I promise, just fight it. Just breathe," she glanced warily over her shoulder, hearing the group's voices. "He doesn't control you, Take. I know you can look, so look, don't trap yourself in your head."

Calm down.. calm down..

Take’s breathing slowed as he started to control it, taking deep breaths as Blair instructed. His hands sliding down face as he opened his eyes, his red irises growing faint and disappearing.

Suddenly, a stray cockroach approached them quickly, his eyes widened as it directed itself at Blair.
He gritted his teeth and moved away from her, coming between them. His hands heated up as he seized the roaches elongated antennas, tearing them off and slamming his foot into its head.
He tossed the antennas away as he pulled his foot out, leaving the cockroach to twitch as it died.

Blair turned quickly as he left, seeing that it was a cockroach appearing. She winced at his brutal method of dispatching of the cockroach, but didn't comment on it. "Thanks for that," she murmured, her eyes flickering back and forth between the feral gold and her normal yellow. "I've already been bitten by them enough."
She came up to him, silent for a moment, until she saw his eyes were no longer red. "Are you going to be alright?"

Take faced her, “Yeah..” he spoke solemnly, ashamed that he was that close to breaking if it wasn’t for her. He rubbed the side of his head, his headache going as quickly as it came.
“What about you..? I mean.. your eyes..” he asked concerningly.

"Fine. I'm fine." Blair answered sharply, looking away from him quickly, redirecting her gaze to the open door. Go away. You did what you needed to, now leave.
"The groups leaving. Come on." She gave one, swift glance at him, before heading towards the door.

Take nodded then followed after her, not fully believing her answer.
I can’t let that happen again.. I can’t..
He cursed under his breath as he scanned her arms and legs from behind, they were scattered with scratches and bites.

Kyle dug his heels into Rylie’s side and pulled up his loose, ragged sleeves, revealing perhaps the most underdeveloped forearms in existence.
“Giddyup!” his tiny voice echoed against the walls like the chime of a bell. “Go Rylie!” Rylie bounded into to the hall, and Cam followed hesitantly.
