Ellie saw the boulder “oh my...” Ellie flung herself against the wall.
Fred was to busy examining himself for stings to notice the boulder.

Fred looked up. The boulder was a few inches from his nose. He gaped at the boulderTake held out his hands towards the boulder, shutting his eyes tightly as he embraced for impact.
The rolling boulder came at full force before it was stopped by Take, it nearly overwhelmed him as it caused him to be pushed back a bit. He felt the built up energy that exerted from the boulder and went through his body, but he was able to withstand it. The heaviness was forced down upon his arms and hands, gritting his teeth was his response to it. He took a few steps back slowly as the boulder followed along with him. Take let out a few grunts while he moved backwards and finally let the boulder rest against the entryway of the stairs.

“Wow, you’re like Superman,” Cam contributed to Clary’s movie analogy. “Why do you have to break it? It seems pretty solid, and stationary.”Take gazed down at Fred, he was very much bug eyed with the help of his large glasses.
“Back away now, I gotta break this thing” he breathed.
He grinned at the Superman comment, it boosted his ego.“Wow, you’re like Superman,” Cam contributed to Clary’s movie analogy. “Why do you have to break it? It seems pretty solid, and stationary.”
Cam pierced the gloom, looking up at where the staircase disappeared into the darkness.
“Where’s Kyle? And Rylie? They had to be crushed!”
She inspected the boulder but it hadn’t conglomerated with a cartoonish flattened cat and man, nor, more seriously, was there any blood.
“We have to go back up there!” Cam began to claw her way up the slippery, massive boulder, only to be denied by a lack of friction. She grabbed Haddie and shook her by the shoulders. “You can be small. You can shift into a bird and fly. Get up there! Go find them!”
“Woah. Not so strong, are you, boulder?” Cam kicked the stone, and instantly regretted it.He grinned at the Superman comment, it boosted his ego.
“It’s blocking the stairs Cam” Takes eyes narrowed, “Plus I like punching things..” he muttered, turning back towards the boulder after moving Fred a ways from the doorway. He took a deep breath and hopped a couple times to get pumped up a bit. He then balled his right hand into a fist, clenching it tightly before he let out a yell as it flew right into the middle of the boulder. After a couple seconds, it was silent before small cracks started to appear.

crack
He took his fist off the rock as it suddenly collapsed in half, leaving a narrow space that they could climb through.
Take laughed a little at Cam’s attempt to ridicule the inanimate boulder, then followed her through the space.“Woah. Not so strong are you, boulder?” Cam kicked the stone, and instantly regretted it.
“Ouch,” she muttered, rubbing her foot before squeezing through the gap.
Cam listened hard and took a few more hesitant steps up the stairs. No reply.Take laughed a little at Cam’s attempt to ridicule the inanimate boulder, then followed her through the space.
“You guys alive up there?” he called out from the gap towards those who were far up the stairs before the boulder dropped. He didn’t remember who else was present besides Kyle and Rylie.
