The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

None of the assorted teenagers in the shop seemed to find his sudden appearance surprising. Charlie stared around and backed up. He jolted as he felt his back hit the counter. "Uhh, I think I'm gonna be.. going now.." he muttered, his voice sounding strange in his ears and he crept towards the door, stumbling a bit as his foot hit a chair leg.
"Hey, wait!" Fox leapt from his chair suddenly, before pulling back just a bit. "Wait, please. I know you're scared, but you have to stay. Mr. Laurel will explain what's happening, alright?" He took a few steps toward the boy, his voice soft. "What's your name?"

"Aww, it's ok, we'll be fine." She said putting a hand on her shoulder. "They're just bugs after all. You're big you've got nothing to worry about." Annie smiled, imagining jumping from bug to bug like she was playing a crunchy game of hopscotch.

Charlie plodded down the sidewalk. It was break, so he would have to go to class soon, but for now it felt nice to watch the crows bickering on the roof of the math building. Then, he felt a particularly large rock hit his foot. He looked down curiously and felt a spark of interest to see that the rock he had just sent flying was glowing and blue. "Weird.." he muttered, reaching down and picking up the rock to examine it. He felt a jerk and, what felt like seconds later, was suddenly in a coffee shop. His eyes widened and he jumped back, arms out, as if ready to be attacked.

Clary smiles back at her. When she was done, she took her phone and stuck it back in her pocket. She felt bad for the other girl, seeing as she was trying not to cry. Not knowing what to say, she looked down at her coffee cup and ran her finger around the rim.
“Thanks. Really,” Cam said. The words of the other girls were comforting, even if what the daydreaming bug-girl said didn’t make total sense.
She tapped the side of her half empty coffee mug, unsure what to say.
She scarcely registered the appearance of a strange new boy who was now stumbling towards the door. I wonder wear he came from.

Hark! A newcomer! Don’t go!
Kyle abandoned Lavender and the tea and trotted over to Rylie, who was sitting patiently on the counter. “Hup!”
Kyle scrambled up Rylie’s back, tugging his thick fur in a way that was surely uncomfortable.
“Go boy!”
Rylie leapt from the counter and bounded to intercept the bewildered young man.
“Wait! Before you go, would you please consider something I need to tell you? That Laurel guy is a hopeless communicator.”

Blair returned his smile, slightly amused. She could almost hear the gears turning in his head at his several moments of pause, before he spoke again. "Well, that's a shame, really. Yellow eyes are the best color." She replied honestly. "And it's nice to meet you, too, Kipp." She smiled, before looking back at Take, shrugging at his words.
"I'd take three eyes over being a werewolf anyday. Anyway, where are you two from? Can't imagine you're from here, or you'd already be out the door a lot time ago."
Take watched the two converse, he could tell that Kipp was opening up a bit. Normally he would be rude to kids younger than himself, because of them normally being brats and straight out annoying. In this case, Kipp was totally the opposite, therefore he treated him much better.
“I’ve been bullied all my life because of them” He replied sternly, “But I’m from California” he shrugged, bending and straightening his leg on the table as he went leaned back and forth in his chair.

"Bakersfield California." Kipp answered, wishing briefly he was back there sitting on top of the radio tower like he normally did. I wonder where in Missouri we are. Maybe there's a radio tower here too. He looked toward the door of the shop, it was sitting open, but the bright sunlight made it hard to see past the opening, his eyes were more suited to lower light. Kipp pursed his lips giving up, they probably wouldn't be here long anyway. Soon it would be off to England to see Stonghenge, or something. If it was early morning in California, it's what? Maybe 9 or 10 here, that would make it.... 16... 4 ish in England? That doesn't give much day light hours for doing what ever we have to do there.

"Take, can you see in the dark?" He blurted out, wondering if maybe that's why he had been picked to come here.

"That's just stupid. It shouldn't matter how many eyes someone has or anything like that." Blair muttered. "People are so rude."

"Ah. So we're all quite far from our homes." She frowned, nails tapping quietly against the table. She glanced at Kipp when he asked Take if he had night-vision. She was curious herself what powers Take might have, but just hadn't asked.

(I’m so surprised XD you picked a place that’s literally an hour away from me)
Once Take heard, “California” he immediately glanced over at Kipp, “Yooo I’m over in Los Angeles” he laughed, surprised.

“Tell that to the people who bullied me. This world is cruel” Take murmured coldly.

He then raised his eyebrows at Kipps sudden inquiry, not expecting the boy to straight out question him.
“Well yeah actually, it wouldn’t be very beneficial to have a three eyes and not be able to see at night” he answered honestly.

(I chose it cause i have a real life friend from there. ;) )
"Hmm," he pursed his lips and fell silent again studying the floor. So much for making friends, he thought to himself, we're gonna get split up once it gets dark.

Before Lavender could even acknowledge Kyle for making her the tea he left. Lavender shrunk and walked away to a booth in a far corner, she hugged her knees but watched and listened to the others. There were quite a few figures who she took note of, the figures like herself, a demon man, and a humanoid fox. She wanted to go over and talk to them but they seemed angry and hostile. So she placed her forehead on her knees, closed her eyes and stuck to herself.

(I can't remember who all is sitting with Annie and Cam. Is it just them and Ellie?)

"Really?" She responded, "My parents will think I'm at school until they get home from work tonight. It won't be hard to convince my parents I've gone to a friends house for the weekend. It is Friday after all. As long as they don't get the call from the school saying I skipped class, it'll be fine." Annie's eyes lit up, "You know aside from the whole fighting bugs part I'm really excited! I mean it's not every day you get to just skip school and go all over the planet for free, instantly! Can you imagine if we had to go to stone henge on a plane? That'd be awful. We need to take a million pictures! This is gonna be so much fun!" She paused a thought jumping into her head, "I need a stick! A really pointy stick." She sat up as tall as she could in her seat and looked around, trying to find anything she could use for squashing spiders, and tearing down giant webs.
“My Mum won’t really care so long as she has Cheryl to keep her company” she said with spite taking a seat next to them. “I’m Ellie by the way” she said smiling at Cameron.

Fred sat at a small table. Making napkins turn into envelopes. He grinned folding it and twisting it. He saw Charlie. Friend material? Then he sighed. Fred pulled out his mobile phone unsure of whether to text his parents or not. Then he saw James’ contact
Hey my favourite friend! I won’t be at school for the next few weeks. Don’t tell mum and dad please.
From Fred
P.S it’s best not to ask Questions as you would NEVER believe it anyway
