The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

“Okay, so that’s kinda scary,” Brid said, pointing towards the growing storm. “Don’t they say not to be under trees if there’s lightning?” She paused and looked around, realizing no one was listening. “I guess a forest doesn’t count. And our only other choice is an empty field.” She thought out loud, absentmindedly playing with a loose strand of hair. Turning back to where Fox and Colby were idly staring back at Stonehenge, she raised her voice so they could hear, gesturing towards the group. “I’d hurry this way! There’s a nasty storm coming, and it’d suck if lightning turned you guys into human toast!”
Hearing Brid's summons, Colby glanced up at the angered sky and then turned to Fox with a halfhearted shrug. "Maybe we can pop by here again. We probably shouldn't stray too far behind the group."

Haddie snuffled through the underbrush, looking for food. She was too hungry to think of much else. Mm, izzat mushroom? As she happily munched some fungal growth, she felt something touching her foot. Shaking her foot irritability, she kept eating. The thing touching her foot recoiled, then wrapped itself around the length of her hind leg. Haddie grunted in alarm, turned around, and swiped at the tree holding her leg. The tree responded by tightening its hold on her leg. She roared, kicking wildly. She found herself hanging upside down in the air. Bad mushrooms? More tendrils reached towards her. She shifted into a mouse and fell to the ground. Ow Ow Ow! She had landed on her forepaw, and it was already swelling up. The tendrils were redirecting, so Haddie commenced her three legged journey back to the road. There was no way she'd be able to shift again until she got some high energy food, and she was not going back into the woods. She finally made it back to the road. How was she going to get someone's attention without getting eaten by Rylie?

Hearing Brid's summons, Colby glanced up at the angered sky and then turned to Fox with a halfhearted shrug. "Maybe we can pop by here again. We probably shouldn't stray too far behind the group."
Fox looked up at the sky, heaving a defeated sigh. "We probably shouldn't. We'll have to try to convince them to come back here." He replied, finally turning around to follow Colby. "It's a shame we have to leave, though."

"You aren't fine, you're hurt." Blair crossed her arms over her chest, her tone sharp. "But we do need to get out of here. Let's go." She jerked her head sharply to the side, indicating the way that they came, and was already starting to go back.
Take followed after Blair, his third eye saw a glimpse of the trees starting to make their resurgence. He immediately started to fasten his pace towards the direction where Blair came from.
“Come on!” he shouted with a little agitation in his voice.

(Also for some reason I forgot to mention that Take doesn’t sweat very much even though he’s heated up most of the time. His body is accustomed to it and knows it isn’t exertion that produces the heat)

Blair whirled around at his shout, raising a brow in confusion, before realizing what was happening. "Go! Ellie, Take, run!" But she didn't run. Instead she waited for Ellie and Take to get ahead of her, before running herself.

Ellie stumbled along after them favouring her right ankle having twisted it on her fall, she had a gash on her knee and scratch on her forehead. She looked a mess. She turned around, the tree roots were snaking their way towards them again she let out a cry and stumbled quicker down the trail

Ellie nodded trying to run she looked behind at the girl. “What is she doing?” She muttered to herself but continued quick-stumbling down the trail

Blair nodded. "Listen to Kyle, people! Stay put until I get back!" She looked over the group, eyes flashing a feral golden. She looked back at the woods, and let her senses run wild until she caught the scent of Take and Ellie, and went racing into the woods with no caution.
This way, that way, around a tree, under clumps of brambles, over a fallen log...Take's scent was strong, but it zig-zagged horribly, and already she had lost Ellie's trail. She didn't falter in her strides, though, running as fast as her legs could carry her, whilst still having the scent.
She didn't pause when she heard a scream, and picked up Ellie's trail again when it mingled with Take's. She faltered in her stride when she burst into the clearing where they currently where, Take literally hanging from a tree.
She blinked, watching as Ellie severed what held Take to the tree, and he fell. "Oh, my God," she muttered under her breath.
Instead of showing concern, though, she stalked up to them. "Now you see what happens?! You see what happens when you do something so moronic as to run off in a unknown place?! I warned you, Take, and you refused to heed that warning, and look what happened! You are so lucky that Ellie happened to be here, or who knows what could have happened to you!"
After her snarled rant, she took a step back, panting, realizing she had momentarily let the wolf take control over her emotions. "Are the two of you alright?"
(Tracking back before the retreat...)
“Yeah” Ellie rubbed her sore twisted ankle and touched her gashed knee

Ellie nodded trying to run she looked behind at the girl. “What is she doing?” She muttered to herself but continued quick-stumbling down the trail
Take noticed Ellie limping and stumbling trying to keep up. He immediately stopped in front of her, and crouched down, “Get on” he ordered, implying that she get on his back so he can carry her out piggy-back style. His body temperature was safe enough not to burn Ellie.
