The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Take heard Ellie’s yell, she was captured once again. He ran over to where the root took hold of her and launched himself, ripping the root off her torso with his bare hands. The locusts were starting to catch up to them, some landing on the trees and disintegrating them. He made sure Ellie landed safely, and shielded her from the locusts that were swarming past them.
“Sorry it seems every time we meeting I’m almost dying” Ellie said over the locusts buzzing

“It’s fine” Take yelled out, the noise of muffled buzzing filled his ears. He closed his eyes, wincing and gritting his teeth as he felt the locusts surrounding them.
Just then, a root shot out at Take, wrapping itself around his neck and dragged him away. He kicked and squirmed as he brought his hands up to the root, trying to pry it off. He cursed loudly as he was taken away from Ellie.

Take choked out and rubbed his neck once Ellie set him free.
He muttered a solemn “Thank you”

Once she grabbed his hand, he let out a concerned yell, “W-wait don’t!” and immediately yanked his hand back before his heat could harshly burn her.

“Why?” Ellie asked “where you injured? I’m sorry if I hurt you”. She looked darkly at the trees

“No. Just.. don’t grab me like that” Take murmured, his sense of fear fading away with those words.

The locusts had gone past them and we going after the front of the group, all they left behind were barren trees. The roots left lifeless and wouldn’t go after them again.

Kyle raised his eyebrows. No one had ever passed down one of Laurel's donuts before. Her loss. As the bird came closer, Rylie's tail twitched dangerously and Kyle began to wonder whether he had just heard the bird's stomach growl. Isn't that... not possible? Don't bird's have like multiple stomachs?
Kyle put the donut piece in his mouth and chewed it quickly, before his conscience could convince him that she needed it more.
"Here. Rylie... do not make another attempted consumption of Haddie."
Kyle waved a needle-point thin finger in the cat's face while grabbing a handful of cat treats out of his endless pockets. (There was too much space in those pants for his stick legs... he must make use of them somehow.)
He threw the cat treats at the bright blue bird before wrestling Rylie's muzzle shut in order to prevent his immediate seizure of either the treats or the bird.
(Wow, I should have known that... oups)
Haddie immediately set upon the treats, keeping one eye on it the annoyed cat. After she scarfed as many treats as she could down, she ruffled her feathers, her crop bulging. She shifted into a raccoon and ate half of the remaining treats, leaving the rest for Rylie. She sat on her haunches and cleaned her whiskers of some persistent crumbs. She placed over to Cam, who was hyperventilating. Panic attack?

“Ok I’m sorry” Ellie stammered. She quickly hurried off to find the others. “Guys? Cam? Kyle? Haddie?” She pushed past lifeless trees. Ellie quickly decided to make a mark on every tree She passed. She aimed her laser and carved a small tick onto the trees
