The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

“Up, boy!” Kyle whispered. Even such a quiet voice could be detected by Rylie’s keen ears.
The last thing he wanted was to be trampled when people started errr... teleporting.
He was hung on for dear life as Rylie jumped atop a smooth black table and was thankful for Rylie’s grace. It wouldn’t have ended well for him if Rylie had made the leap carelessly. He unstrapped himself from the harness and slid down to the table, trotting across its length.

Ellie Blare sat on her bed gazing at the birds her daydreaming seemed miles away. She Just loved the way they circled climbing higher and higher. She untied her plait And unraveled it. She reached for her hair brush, and tugged it through the tangled mass. Ellie sighed gazing back at the birds. She wished she could just fly away like them...

Annie raced down the stairs, skipping all the steps buzzing down on her translucent wings, some how she was always running out the door at the absolute last minute before school started. She darted to the kitchen and grabbed a slice of bread stuffing it into her mouth as she grabbed her bag.

"Good morning." Her mom yelled at her ask she whisked by.

"Mrrrhhngk!" She replied around the wad of soggy bread.

Annie fell out the front door, her foot catching on a lump under the mat. She gasped as she fell, getting pieces of her breakfast caught in her throat, she gagged and coughed spitting goopy bread on the deck. The door which she had hit with her hand mid-fall swung back on it's hinges and smacked her in the forehead.

"Graaah!" She growled annoyed at her bad luck. "What even is this?!" She yelled grabbing the mat and throwing it down the steps to the side walk. A glowing blue stone was laying underneath. Annie picked it up and glared at it. "WHY?!" She yelled at it, unaware she had instantly been transported to the coffee shop. She threw the stone as hard as she could the same way she had thrown the mat. The rock flew straight and true smacking Kyle hard in the face.

Annie jumped up surprised. "I'm so sorry! Are you ok?" She said running over to him and trying to help him back up on to his feet gently, it was a big rock compared to some one who was maybe 7" tall.

“Ellie! Can you come here please?” Her mother shouted. Ellie sighed slipping on her slippers and jogging down the stairs. “Ellie!” Her Mum’s Sharp voice cut through her hazy thoughts. “Coming” she yawned. “Put on your shoes and go get the newspaper” her mum barked. Her 5 year old sister grinned “Yeah Ellie put on your shoes”. Ellie rolled her eyes. Slipping on her boots she ran outside. She found the blue rock “ooooh” ( I gtg exams )

Kipp stared at the glowing red numbers on his clock. Not yet. He thought to himself. I don't have to get up yet. He was pretty sure he had slept the night but it really didn't feel like it. Getting up was a job all by it self. Then there was getting dressed and making sure his bag was together. Did I have homework? He wondered a twinge of anxiety twisting his insides. Doesn't matter now. It won't be done if I did. He heaved a sigh and rolled using his momentum to get him to his feet and stumbling a few steps toward the door. Coffee. I need coffee. Kipp put his hand on the door knob hesitating. Do I really have to do today. It's not too late I could just go back to bed and say I'm sick. But I doubt I'd get away with it.

"Kipper! You've gotta get up for school!" Came a shout from the other room. He leaned his head against the cool door.

"Yeah." he said quietly.

"KIPP!!"

"I said YEAH!" He shouted back yanking the door open. He suppressed a sigh as he grabbed a box of cereal off the shelf. He didn't need his dad yelling at him again today for being moody.

He sat down and poured the cereal out into a bowl. A louder ting echoed through the room as a strange blues stone fell out of the box. He frowned at it. Who put a rock in my cereal? He wondered picking it up.

Kipp stumbled backward, suddenly not sitting in a chair anymore, he flopped down on his butt on the floor of a coffee shop. He blinked a few times looking around. Did I just pass out or something? I know I need coffee, but how? Is this real?

Kyle felt the wind go right out of him as a flying projectile knocked him onto his back.
“I’m okayyayyyy...” he sputtered, rolling to his knees. “I’m sorry, I mean, I forgive you, anyways you are chosen for a great purpose...” he trailed off. The girl was still fussing over him. “You’re not...”
“Merower?” Rylie enquired. He pounced on the stone, batting it across the table with his big white paws before sending it skittering over the edge.
Kyle cringed and poked his head over the side before heaving a sigh of relief. Those stones must be more durable than I thought. “Those things are like thousands of years old,” he said. “At least I made for a soft landing...”
