The Most Dangerous Coffee Shop- A Role Play

Fox had grabbed the bush, locusts biting his skin with sharp pinchers, thorns stabbing his palms. But he pulled hard, forcing it to the side, and barely suppressed a yell of victory as Brid rolled out. He let the bush snap back to it's original state, if not a bit more damaged, rushing over to Brid. "Are you alright?" He gasped, pulling a thorn from his hand. "Is your hand alright?

As she rolled out of her confinement she grabbed for her glasses, relief flooding her at both her escape and having not lost them. Her bare arms were scraped, and her shirt was snagged. “I’m okay,” She gasped in response, putting her glasses back on with trembling hands. “I guess a living bush isn’t the best hiding place.” Laughing nervously as the adrenaline rushed out of her body, she examined her palm, winced as she wiped away the small pool of blood in her hand, and pressed her thumb against the puncture wound. The pressure sent a throbbing sensation through her hand, and she squeezing her eyes shut for a second. “That hurts. It’s nothing too serious though, it’ll heal.” She scrambled to her feet, then looked up at him sincerely, although little embarrassed. “Thank you. I-I was worried no one would hear me.” Then a sudden realization hit her. “How did you know about my hand?”

"Y-yeah, next time maybe don't hide in a live bush." Fox gave a strained laugh, his voice tense. A sudden throbbing pain stung the palm of his hand even more, and he gritted his teeth to stop himself from giving away any sign of distress or pain.
"Uh, yeah...no problem. I just...happened to be in the right spoke at the right time." He muttered, examining the thorns in his hand, pulling another out. At her question, though, he dropped his hand, his startled blue and amber gaze flickering down to meet hers. "Oh. That. Empath...I'm an Empath. So I can like...feel what others are feeling, is the best way to describe it."

Haddie listened to everyone talk. How can they share these things with each other?
“Laurel called it ‘The Glade of Reflection.’ He tried explaining it to me, but I didn’t totally understand him. He says he doesn’t know it’s purpose, but that it was likely created by a powerful Reflector.”
Kyle rubbed Rylie’s neck, which was fluffed for like the hundredth time that day because everyone had suddenly just appeared in front of him.
A Reflector was famously known for their ability to reflect your inner thoughts, feelings, and past, but also echoes from another person.
Some Reflectors were quite wealthy because of how they could use their ability for profit, but few were this powerful, to leave a mark millennias old.
“What did you see?”
"What does it matter? I saw something from my past, just like everyone else." Haddie said.

Take laid back onto the rock, his body was stretched out as he faced towards the sky. It a soft and clear blue, a better view than the ominous dark clouds from earlier.
He had his hands behind his head as he began to radiate heat into the rock. It appeared as if he was a lizard basking on a heat rock.

He daydreamed about food, taking a shower, and sleeping after this long day.

“Looks like it’s time to move on. But where do we go?” Kyle was just beginning to realize how lost he was. He didn’t even know what direction he went to get to this glade in the first place, only that the forest was south of the moor. I think we have to go west from here.

(ahhh, I'll try.)

Kipp staggered sideways suddenly teleported again. His mind blank he stared into the distance trying to get his bearings. The last thing he remembered was the swarm of bugs heading for them.

"Hi..." he said to the startled bug girl who somehow ended up right next to him.

"Oh, hi. I don't think we've actually met yet. I'm An-"

"Annie. Yeah, I heard you tell people your name like a million times already." He frowned realizing it may have come across as rude. "I'm Kipp." She grinned up at him in response.

"It's nice to finally know your name!" She said her eyes practically disappearing as she somehow smiled even wider. Kipp squinted at her sideways.

"It's not that nice." He muttered, her enthusiasm was a bit much, how could someone be that happy? Wasn't it exhausting to be that cheerful all the time?
